  2. Currently working with Stephenson administrator at Stephenson High School volunteering weekly to help in the Counseling Center and to identify the needs of the students, school and how the Community can get more involved. Personally emailed the PTSA over $300K+ in Grants and Scholarships for Stephenson High and it's Students.
  3. Recently spoke with Wal-mart workers who stated $1.5 million dollars was taken from inventory from the West Park Place Walmart. Imagine if those dollars were spent in our local area stores and how will this impact business in the area.

Although we may be known as one of the more prestigious areas of the Dekalb County, we as a community have sometimes fallen short to the possibility of prestige.  I have become present to the fact that it is entirely up to our community to stay engaged in the happenings of our surroundings.   Yet, we must refocus our efforts in promoting more of the good things that occur in our area, while putting ourselves in places to be proactive in curtailing the issues that compromise our quality of life.

We must understand the difference between quality and value and the specific impact that one has on the other.
